I am fortunate to currently be staying opposite the Burj Dubai as they prepare for its launch/opening party on 4th Jan. NYE was a subdued affair, and having seen photos of the fireworks attached to the Burj Dubai, I am confident they are saving everything for the 4th and intend to make quite an impact.
The tower is estimated to be 818m tall (although they’re trying to keep the precise height a secret) and it is truly incredible to see it lit up at night like this.
